Mountain View Rottweilers - Dog Review from Wichita, Kansas
I purchased a pup from Brandon Howard and 1 day layer I was rushing my pup to the vet. The pup was diagnosed with PARVO!!
Brandon has a 2 year health guarantee, but told us that does not cover PARVO! Our vet bill was over $3,000 for a 2 week stay fighting for his life. The litter sister died from parvo while our pup was in the hospital.
The day we picked up our pup he didn't give us our AKC papers, and we weren't allowed to even see in his kennel.
Brandon said he would mail the paperwork to us, and brought the dog outside so we couldn't even see the kennel conditions. He tried to have me sign an agreement to not speak of his business and the parvo problems, and if I signed it he would give me the AKC papers. Which i never signed! He played mind games with me from there on!
His vet that he takes the puppies to, they ONLY HANDLE VISUAL HEALTH CHECKS!! Brandon makes you think a vet administers the vaccines, however Brandon administers all meds. He gave our pup his first PARVO VACCINE which was 6 months EXPIRED!!!
Brandon gets all of his vaccines from Tractor Supply!! Was Confirmed by his VET THAT HE BEEN BATTLING PARVO FOR OVER A YEAR!!

Since I wrote the original review here on this website I've been in contact with the breeder regarding this issue still. I would like to now add that the Breeder did agreed to reimburse a very small portion of the dog's first procedure but has yet to follow through with the offer.

Hello puppy buyers, I have over 10 years experience with the Rottweiler Breed. I have caught several scammers on the internet selling Rottweiler's.
These people are *** and need to be put in jail. They use every trick in the book to hook you. The only way around it is to educate yourself with this wonderful breed. You need to know all about the history, temperament, treatment, sickness, and with this knowledge you'll be able to protect yourself with getting scammed.
Never buy a puppy that hasn't been AKC registered. AKC doesn't really mean anything but they have a very good data base on registered dogs and puppies. Ask the breeder for the parents pedigree papers. They can be copied and emailed to you.
There is a registration number on each puppy or dog registered. It is the WS1234**** and each breeder should have these if he registered the litter. Rottweiler's are prone to sickness and you as a buyer need to check by asking questions like: Have your dogs been health checked with heart, blood, blood test for parvo virus and any other parasitic infections, worms etc. Ask if the hips and joints have been checked, the teeth, the bite, the palette, eye's, and the correct coloring and markings.
There are many genetic faults that get passed to other litters by people that breed faulty genetic dogs. That's how the hips, bone and joint issues, eye color of each eye, correct bite, cleft palette, and poor looking features. Never buy a puppy with white spots. This is not a major issue but if you show the dog it is considered a fault.
Try to learn some of the ways to provide good health to the dog like, good food, learn how to give worm medication, the vaccines can be purchased at most feed supply stores. read how to administer shots, if you don't learn these your going to get large Vet bills. Never buy a puppy or dog until you have something in writing that the breeder will return your money if a sickness is found by your Vet. always have your new pet health checked 1 or 2 days after receiving it.
If possible do an inspection of the cleanliness of the breeder's kennels and also the Vet's office. The number one place for your puppy or dog to get sick in the Vet's office. It's a hospital for sick pets and these bacteria, viruses, worms or whatever and be transferred easily to you pet. Try to make Vet appointment early morning before all the other pets arrive.
I think by now you get the idea of this comment.
Keep the Rottweiler breed genetically correct and don't buy from scammers and puppy mills. Hope this helps
